I remember learning to conduct Le nozze di Figaro at Empire Cafe in Houston. Ok, not exclusively there, but let's just say that their coffee helped fuel the learning process. Just as the Wienerschnitzel and Bier at this tree-lined locale have fueled my continued forays into Wagner.
